Michael Zukov is a Consulting Engineer with over two decades of experience in fire protection, specialising in fire alarm system design and building codes
Mike is a Principal with ARENCON and has experience that includes building code and fire code compliance reviews, fire alarm system design, fire protection integrated systems testing, security systems consulting, construction project management and preparation of alternative solutions.
Mike holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). Mike is registered as a Professional Engineer and holds the designation of Consulting Engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario.
Mike is also registered with the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) as a Registered Fire Alarm Technician.

- Member of the Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (ULC) Technical Committees TC500F1 and TC500F6 for the development of various standards including CAN/ULC-S524, CAN/ULC-S536, CAN/ULC-S537, CAN/ULC-S1001, and more.
- Member of the Durham College‘s School of Justice & Emergency Services, Program Advisory Committee (PAC) for the Fire and Life Safety Systems Technician (FLST) program.
- Director of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) at the National level as well as the Central Ontario Chapter.
